Made of 9-18oz aluminized Norbest, a unique blend of carbon and Kevlar; Highly flame and heat resistant; Offers superior protection against radiant heat and molten metal splash; Test proven: 13oz fabric only has a temperature rise of 18oF when two pounds of molten iron heated to 2850oF is poured onto it at at a 70o angle. It is much lower than the minimum temperature rise of 40oF needed to cause extreme pain and second-degree burns.
